can't believe I woke up early on my only day off for this. knew what it would look like though, same thing it's been for months. we just get worse and worse.

Less than 2 weeks ago this Southampton side lost 9-0 and we have failed to create a proper chance , it's just pitiful stuff. There's no enjoyment to be had from watching us, I wish I could give it a break for a couple of weeks but unfortunately I can't.

Against 10 and then 9 men. We all know how that can make a huge difference!

needs a change tactically. Last time we found ourselves two nil down against them we went 352, Neto behind Traore and Raul. very direct, and it worked.

I'd be tempted to go 4231 and put Gibbs-White on for Moutinho (Donck holding)

I mean I don't often post much here, especially not in match threads. Make one lame joke and now been called out by two people for it. Supporting a crap footy team is depressing but lighten up people.

4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2. Everything else is a waste of time.

We just play it so badly. In 4-2-3-1 we leave 1 v 1 everywhere and in 3-4-3 we have 6 on 3 or 4. There is a middle ground!

What is annoying is that we have been set up to play a bit higher, yeah they got in a couple of times but was always going to happen. We were more direct with the ball in first 15 or so too, with Semedo and Jonny coming inside to create space wide. SInce the goal it has all fallen apart though, genuinely embarrassing response.

There is no way we are going to get anything from this game. Its men against boys. Not once have we troubled the Southampton defence. Its just shite.

This for me - moutinho isn’t achieving anything and Donk is an awful defender but a decent midfielder in a two.

the problem with our three up top is that Neto is wide left and Traore wide right so the only possible interplay is Jose who has grown roots and can’t move. Get MGW in there so there is an option of linking up.

Tbh Nuno's got to show he wants this fucking job at half time. That starting eleven was just dialled in. I could quite happily make 7 changes.

4231, get Vitinha, MGW and Neto all behind the Brazilian Kevin Kyle, stay fucking close to each other and try to play some actual football with passing and movement.

How do we ever expect to score ? Jose is always alone in the box even if we manage to get a cross in. Neves and Mouthino seem as though they.re not allowed to get even close to the area. Still having to play everything back to Coady. Sorry to say but go to a back 4 without Coady and get some movement from the midfield.

Think it's fair to say there was a general consensus that if there were signs of improvement to the end of the season a lot of us could accept letting this season go given the circumstances etc.

We're not improving. We're getting worse. We play like this against Leeds they'll be running through us every 5 minutes.
