Also your email evidence consists of what i assume is a court email to someone fining them for calling the judge obviously mentally disturbed. it adds NOTHING. It is a copy and paste of some text with a few details added in. Where is the sender e-mail address to prove it is genuine?

If this sentence is so outrageous, why haven't the German prosecutors immediately appealed it? I'm sure they would have filed something by now?

You do realise that the way AFD worryingly garner votes from this because of internet traction of something with no backing?

If the Daily Mail had said a court case had happened and a 30 year old man was fined 3000 euros for raping a 15 year old girl and was told by the judge that the perpetrator was on his way to being a good British citizen, then someone sent an email calling the judge stupid and was fined 5000 euros, which is a heavier fine than the rapist got, it would be countered by every newspaper and politician with different political ideals.

Well it hasn't been.
I, as I have said, did not get the story from any newspaper, I got it from a friend and now it has been confirmed by 4 other German people.
My point is that the AFD get votes from that, which is worrying.

Well not only have I spoken to them, it is in Bild newspaper.
Yes, 3 Socialist and Green and 2 Conservatives and they are complaining about the lenient sentence, for the very reason it plays in to AFD's hands.
 
Bild is piece of shit. I don't care who your acquaintances vote for. i care if they down the same rabbit hole as you, as that means it is utterly biased. But you know all this.

Biased? I am always on the side of children that are abused. To want a full investigation why some police forces turned a blind eye to child abuse, does not make me biased. It means I think they should lose their jobs and be prosecuted. It has nothing to do with my political beliefs and it doesn't make me biased.
Saying I was told a 15 year old girl was raped by a 30 year old Syrian doesn't make me biased. I said it played in to the AFD's hands.
I believe all people should be treated equally before the law and the law always should put the safety of children first.
I won't go down any rabbit hole that defends kiddy fiddlers and I think anyone who puts their political beliefs before children's safety are gutless cowards, whatever their political beliefs.

Sorry, I meant that tongue in cheek. It is almost the same story I put up earlier. I have said all along that I got the story from people who I know, who are decent people and who were worried about this type of story helping fascists get in to power in Germany.
 
I've lived in Germany for 35 years and this story is likely to be true, despite only being initially reported in a local newspaper and then seizing upon by the national BILD to encourage anti- immigrant rhetoric.

I'd point out that the media make up of Germany isn't like it is in the UK, privacy laws also mean no one will know the names of the victim, the perpetrator, nor the exact details of the crime. No German that get their news from German media alone even knows the name of the Germanwings pilot who deliberately crashed his plane into the French alps murdering over 200 people for example. That's how the media operates here, there simply isn't the same transparency as in the UK, with both positive and negative results.

What should be pointed out is that the suspended sentence and fine handed down to the Syrian perpetrator in this case doesn't vary too much from other similar cases. For example, a 15 year old girl was gangraped by 10 youths who weren't tried as adults and were ultimately sentenced to suspended sentences, the judge using pretty much the same reasons as the the judge in the Syrians case - first sexual crime, first offence of any kind, don't want to ruin the offenders future.

The judge in the Syrians case also said it didn't come to intercourse, the victim wasn't negatively psychologically effected, and she'd benefit more from the 3000 euro compensation payment than a prison sentence for the rapist.

"Insulting a civil servant" (calling the judge an idiot) is also a crime in Germany, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, which incidentally is also the maximum sentence for rape.

So while the original story is almost certainly true, and the sentences for both the rapist and the man who called the judge and idiot are horrendous, the reasoning for those sentences is not as the neo-nazi AFD would like you to believe, a favouritism towards immigrants and the silencing of criticism but rather a deep seated misogyny and in the justice system and the judges.

That is true, and a fair assessment. It is also the same argument used by the judge who handed down similar sentences to the youths who gangraped a different 15 year old girl - the judge cared more for the future of the rapists than for the victim. The sentencing had nothing to do with the fact that the rapist was an immigrant.

Make no mistake though, the AfD don't care about women's rights and women beyond how much anti-immigrant sentiment they can milk from them, and how many babies they can have for the Fatherland.

I agree with everything you say and my point was that the AFD use cases like this for political gain.
 
Just heard of this case by accident - a fireman in Bavaria was given an 11 month suspended sentence just the end of last year for the rape of a girlfriend. The reason for the lenient sentence was that he would lose his civil servant status if the sentence was any longer and he had paid €6000 to his victim as way of recompense. The prosecution will appeal, they had demanded a suspended sentence of 18 months.

What i have learned today though is that in Germany rape is essentially Straffrei (non-punishable). Absolutely raging.

I read this article about Merz the CDU leader and probably the next German leader. He seems to be stealing a lot of ADF ideology, blaming immigrants for Germany's problems. Surely he couldn't carry out those immigration policies in the EU?
It must be very frightening being an immigrant in the USA and many European countries today. What ever happened to international law to protect these people?
