Spiers came on about 28 1/2 mins in and his questions were fine. There was no contempt towards him. That’s purely a figment of your imagination because you don’t like the guy..

I guess because you like the guy you didn't hear the contempt. Not your fault just your confirmation bias at work.

The other questions were pathetically amatuer.

He is an abysmal journalist, have a listen to all the others and particularly Liam who Bruno clearly has a good relationship with for how questions should be structured.

Nash was worse which isn't a shock, but the contempt which I thought reserved for Spiers was worse for him.

Tbh, most of the media are terrible, in Brunos piece, different people asking the same questions...its not like he's gunna answer any questions atm about incoming/outgoing players, it was only towards the end, someone asked about the new player we just signed and the Irish guy right at the end asking about 4/5 at the back.

Some of them were good but certainly Spiers and Nash as well as the TV journos were poor, just going through the motions.

Bad research aswell. Mike Taylor talking about Scott Sellars and loans when we employed Jackson to do that. It's your job to professionally cover Wolves, how can't you know that?

It was Spiers that asked about the new player…

If I remember rightly he can’t even say Jimenez correctly.

Ruddy
Semedo kilman coady Marcal RAN
Traore neves donk podence
Fabio

Strong team and there won’t be many excuses for a poor game from Fabio. Be interesting to see how Marcal goes and hopefully we can see Giles/Sanderson/Jordao/ play

Dexter Lembikisa on the bench, first time I've noticed his name. Googled him and he's 18.

Anybody who follows the youth groups fill the gaps in please?

Happy with the team, good to see Adama Cup tied as well!

Hopefully Fabio follows up his cameo vs Man U with a strong performance

Has played either side at wing-back for the 18s and 23s this season.

Decent line up. In pre-season there were a couple of games where Marcal looked like he was playing LCB but it turned out to be left of a back four with RAN a lot higher (did for last part of Spurs at home too). Wonder if there will be times where it looks like that today.

Very good point, might be a slightly different shape at least on the ball.

Interesting. Potential for it to be a 4-4-2 at times do you think? Not that I'm particularly a fan of 4-4-2.

Very happy with that line up. Considering we’re not going down and to sustain a European push is unlikely, taking the FA cup seriously is correct

Agreed, Cup run under Nuno was definitely one of the highlights of his time. Until 10 minutes to go in the semi-final that is... The day at Wembley was still fantastic though.
