Will you renew?

If Fosun cared or had sense (they don't on either) they could use next season to demolish & redelop the Steve Bull stand with us having now guarenteed lower attendances

Fosun can barely be arsed to give the place a lick of paint so I don't see them ever redeveloping a whole stand!
Unfair....easy to forget that Shi Mk1 stated that an announcement was due in a few weeks on that, just 2 months ago...

Probably not. But a few hundred people bothered to protest about Jeff Shi and ‘something’ changed. Whether that something will make any difference is a separate debate.

But it’s barely any skin off your nose to do something which may make/have made a difference.
I think the fact that we were bottom of the league and hopelessly adrift is more likely the something that changed with regards Jeff Shi.

I didn’t renew until the last moment last year, nothing changed. They will set their prices, there will be criticism, they will tinker around the edges.

The WM interview got him sacked, he only did that because of the protests, they only happened because we were so shit. They are all interlinked.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he took advice from a certain former prince on how to play that interview. Proper car crash.

As that's clearly aimed at me, I made a stand 2 years ago, not because I couldn't afford it, but because I thought the price was immoral. If thousands of others had then rather than a trickle who knows what might have happened? If it's another trickle then guess what happens again.

As was your smug post aimed at everyone who did pay it.

It’s fair and right to take a stand, it’s not fair and right to judge everyone who takes a different course of action.

Fwiw I respect the way you approached it which from memory was to say something along the lines of Jeff's a twat, but I'll pay it when the prices were announced. Those that said they wouldn't, wrote their letters and then collapsed are those that Shi laughs at.

If there is a token reduction then pay it, don't pay it, that's the individuals choice, but in doing so you know you are enabling an ownership that doesn't appreciate you or the traditions of the club and will continue to operate that way until there is a sizeable financial protest.

So far the only meaningful change has happened because of anger and protests in the ground.

Obviously I can't prove something that hasn't happened, but if 10k hadn't renewed last time or 10k don’t do so this, I'd feel good about a reaction

“Former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß: "We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us?

The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked.

Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England."
