Will you renew?

Yep, made this point when they pushed the price to where it is. It's fine until it isn't fine.

What would even be the point of a ST if you don't sit in a group of mates/family? Not like you can't just rock up and buy a ticket the day before, they can't keep the astronomical matchday prices as no one will buy one, you're guaranteed at least 10 (I think) home games on TV as a Championship team (we'd be on more than your likes of Oxford and Millwall) so why commit to going to every single game up front.

I was talking to a Saints fan this morning and he was saying that they've had barely any Sat 3pm games so there's that to contend with as well.

The consequences of getting relegated by February will have a long lasting impact both on and off the pitch for years to come. There’s not a chance I’ll be renewing my ST unless it’s massively reduced and gives me at least 6 or 8 games free compared to pay by the game prices. The chances of that happening are about as likely as Gomes and Andre winning the World Cup and then staying at Wolves! I’d rather spend the significant amount saved on tickets, travel and pre-match beer on a few cans, a takeaway and watch it on tv if I can be bothered. Even drinking @leedswolf craft ales I’ll still be far better off.

Probably need to start a new thread on this for next season, but thought I’d stick this here for now.

"Pricing must be considered as part of a longer-term strategy rather than a single-season reaction, particularly if the club is targeting an immediate return to the Premier League."

And so it begins. We’re going to have sub 20k most weeks next season and the cunts will try and justify it.

Oh fuck off.

The club not Jinky obviously.

I wonder if splashing out £4m on Rob Midwards is part of their longer-term strategy

Piss off Wolves, honestly.

I spent years renewing in the hope of promotion, hope often dashed, often cruelly. It was always an easy decision. Under Nuno after promotion it was easy to renew to watch some of the best players to ever pull on a Wolves shirt. The last few years have managed to suck the joy out of following Wolves while paying through the nose for the “pleasure”. I know I will renew and hope there is hope but I know this club is set up at the moment to continue the decline and will continue on that trajectory under Fosun.

Just read the minutes. Total bullshit - there's going to be no intention whatsoever to change the way the club is run, to think of supporters, to meaningfully challenge if (big if) we do get back to the PL.

Just this 'self sustaining' bollocks that's gone so swimmingly well for us.

TL;DR: nothing has been learned

Shi I was always the mouthpiece. He could have finessed the message better on numerous occasions, was allowed to have too much say on recruitment and appointments, but he was never the strategy setter, that came from China. Shi II only came about because Shi I's position became untenable it was never about material change and won't be until they go.

Why don’t you not renew straight away, leave it till the last day, or even better - don’t renew in the window and then just buy one later.

When there was all the huff last time most people had auto renewed on day one so there was no fan leverage. Just a load of hot air.

Same again, Jeff leaving was just like pulling the head off a weed now it’s grown back. Until Fosun leave this crap will continue to occur.
Someone will still defend them when we’re sat 14th with vanilla Rob in charge playing in front of 17k

Very little has changed from an ownership standpoint since I gave up my season ticket at the end of Lage's first season. Other than that it is now even more expensive and an even more dwindling product than it was back then.

I swore then that they'd never get any more of my money. This seems to suggest that there'll be little change in the pricing structure despite us being in an inferior division on the back of the ownerships managed decline of the club.

They can get to fuck as far as I'm concerned.

If they stick with current prices or even close there will be a huge exodus. At least 5 games out of 12 not at 3pm on a Saturday and available on tv. It’s utter madness to think you can get relegated and keep prices at the level of a top 6 PL team. Benchmarking proper seats not golf stand seats against other Championship teams or watch crowds disappear instantly.

You can also guarantee we’ll be televised a lot early on so by the time 3pm Saturday games come around they’ll have lost their appeal to many if we don’t get off to a good start.
