SC Braga (A) 28.11.2019 Build-Up Thread

Braga has been having a lot of issues with their pitch. Pretty much as Benfica.

The new fields were crap, Benfica had to change it in late October.

Staff at the ground when we collected our tickets

Hmm. Sounds likely it is true then. If it is postponed then it has to be played tomorrow which would mean Sheffield United on Sunday would be off. Fuckstix.

Not to forget 6k fans would be out of pocket for this game as well. Hope it is somehow on.

Would it? The PL don’t seem to care about rest periods over Xmas.

Been told there's no pitch inspection planned at this stage.

Sat in a cafe next to Bom Jesus de Monte....glad I came up here as its absolutely stunning (even to a lapsed Catholic) but am soaked through atm as it is, as Spiers put it, biblical atm.

Hope the open-ended stadium isn't too open :surrender:

The pitch is going to be a right pudding to play on. Hopefull no injuries picked up tonight as its going to cut up very easily

At least the game will be on by the sound of it. Slick passing football might not be an option though!

We’re staying in a hotel at the top. Mightily impressive. Managed to look round just before the rain started.

My flight leaving Stansted this morning is 90% Wolves fans. There's another going to Lisbon a few gates along which is probably 50% Wolves fans (who I can only assume don't quite understand geography). There will be shed loads of us.

I was flying to Dublin yesterday out of Brum. There was half a dozen Wolves fans on our flight??
Must have been flying on to Portugal from Dublin??
Unless they got Braga mixed up with Balbriggan lol

Exactly four years ago I was looking at this.

0-0 at home to MK Dons and 10 men behind the ball with 5-10 mins to go.

Here we are tonight.

The bottom corner of the South Bank got out early! Presume to beat the North Bank rush for the 9.50 bus home

It was a Saturday game. Mind you the age demographic of the North Bank....

That can't be with 5-10 minutes to go the North Bank is too full.

Unchanged, Otasowie on the bench
