Sako/Dicko ACON watch

Good for us but it must be disappointing for Nouha.

Anyway, he is just getting over a fairly lengthy period out so travelling to Africa for a tournament isn't the best plan of action
 
That is wonderful news. Dicko is more important to the team overall than Sako is.
 
How much have we missed Dicko though? I think we have been blessed here, especially as we expected to lose both of them.
 
I think with Rajiv in the side we can afford not to have Sako. If we were missing them both then I think it'd be a problem.
 
I'm not saying Dicko is a better player just that he is more important to our shape, formation and overall team than Sako is. The last 9 games have told us how much we need him. It's not so much what he does, it's what he can do, we play 10 yds further up the pitch when he plays because we know what he offers. That gives confidence to the whole team, which is priceless. I am not in any way having a go at Sako and would much rather they both were staying for January BUT if we had to lose one I'd choose Sako.

Remind me how many goals they've both scored?
 
I mean in terms of how our overall play is affected.
 
Van La Parra is still adapting to English football but at the moment he's only got one thing in his locker, which is run the full back, Sako has so much to his game that eclipses VLP like running the channel, switching inside and running the centre midfield and the big thing.........Goals

I personally think Sako's loss will be felt strongly during his absence.
