Ryder Cup

Erm....Andy. Obviously.

The actual pairs for this morning:

Ian Poulter/Justin Rose (Europe) vs. Bubba Watson/Webb Simpson (USA)
Luke Donald/Lee Westwood (Europe) vs. Phil Mickelson/Keegan Bradley (USA)
Sergio Garcia/Nicolas Colsaerts (Europe) vs. Jason Dufner/Zach Johnson (USA)
Rory McIlroy/Graeme McDowell (Europe) vs. Jim Furyk/Brandt Snedeker (USA)

The Europe team looks far better than yesterday.

I have hardly watched any of it. The course is set up for totally unwatchable golf. Wide fairways, no rough, vast gaps between the trees, even I would fancy my chances till it came to putting. Then the greens are so fast there is no margin for error. Fair enough the Yanks going for a coourse that gives them the advantage, but not at the expense of the spectacle. When they finally win tomorrow, I predict it will be Kiawah Island all over again.

Europe have started well, Americans starting to miss some putts, if we can put a little pressure on you never know.
Think we've left us too much to do though.

Is Suzann Pettersen playing this year?

Colsaerts 3-putts from a few feet - would have gone one up, but somehow goes one down.

Only up in 1 game now. Laurie is 5 up.
Too many a/s/
The americans generally have a lead of 2 or more too...

This is very nerve racking. Kudos to the Chicago crowd. They have been brilliant. Imagine them if we somehow steal this from under the USA's nose
