What a delightful post this is, the fact that most of the stuff on here is wrong makes it worse. SA did what they had to do to win.

Would loved to have seen you play more quick ball along the back line from rucks - seemed to have an advantage out there.

It’s not easy on the eye, I agree, but it is effective - they played to their strengths, and outscored Wales, so deserve their place in the final. Hopefully, England can expose their limitations.

Tbf I only watched the first half as I was out with my lads at rugby after then, but I thought Wales looked the better team.

Can I just say that talking rugby as a Welshman on here amongst mostly England fans is actually pretty decent. Thank you all for a very fair discussion of the games. Bar Glasgo, who is clearly a huge let down for England fans. I wanted to be much, much ruder, but that would be wrong.

Gutted to be fair, terrible game for the neutral though. Could only catch the first half but it was SA playing to their strengths in the forwards and then kicking every chance.

Really hoped that Wales could have joined England in the final. I see SA as only being runners up on that performance, Wales have run out of steam and players, I would expect England to control the Boks and win well.

Wales today could well have won, but played into the SA system rather than trying to get them out of their comfort zone.

Except it wont be for nothing, Wales most successful coach of the professional era playing his last game against the All Blacks, great chance to get 3rd and some small consolation for missing out today, the very least a final hurrah to coach and team.

Yes, but so is Boxing at the Olympics, but they have the sense to know when enough is enough.

That said, I’m English, so have no vested interest - if you are Welsh and see value in the game, then crack on.
