Kevin Sinfield has done another marathon today for MND. What this man has done for his mucka is truly amazing, it really shows the strength of friendship in the sport.

Rob is a very humble man himself, and he sees it as helping out those who aren't as comfortable financially as himself.

This is the last thing the international game needs at the moment and is purely the antipodean putting their domestic game ahead of the international game.

It was meant to be a showcase to highlight the sport both here and with emerging nations. the international game is very much the poor relation to the club game (somewhat a reverse of how Union is followed) It is awful news for the sport, theres no hiding that, but at least England should have a WC win this year.

The game really is a shit show at the moment in how not to run a sport

Super League clubs set to face 48-0 defeat if they forfeit games with Covid outbreak

Super League clubs are set to be ordered to forfeit matches if they are unable to fulfil a fixture because of a Covid outbreak.

I've taken the plunge and bought a ST at Wigan for me and the boys. Their tickets were only £32 each, but I would have got them free if Id waited as I'd signed them up to some training sessions this month, which only cost £25 which is madness. My ticket was under £300, will hopefully make more than half of the games which will still be good value in my eyes.

With the lure of football and lack of any real rugby options its easy for rugby to get lost in the noise of football

Not sure where Wigan will be this season though, I can't stomach another Saints team winning the GF but can't see past them atm.

Yep, in the main stand too.

They are basically giving away the kids tickets. Crowds have been on the way down for years, but as a sport you get so much value out of your ticket its madness.

Looks like scrums are back, and points rather than %. I quite liked the NRL having the scrum where the team who wins the feed want it, thought it added a bit of tactics.

Also I don't expect many if any cancelled fixtures this year, would be a totally last resort to pull out of a fixture given the criteria, bear in mind this is a sport which carries high levels of injuries and a fraction of the funding football affords.

any team unable to fulfil a fixture will forfeit the match with a 48-0 scoreline - save in exceptional circumstances to be determined by the RFL Board, which would include a club being unable to play a match due to being required to shut down by either the RFL’s Multiple Case Group or Public Health England

Cade Cust is a little bit special, and Jai Field is rather quick.

Dissapointing to let them score at the end but we looked fairly decent, should be a good season with Bevan French coming back.

Could do with a goal kicker though, rekon I could have got a few of those.

Super League and the RFL are proposing a realignment. Hopefully this means the sustainability of the professional/part time teams.
