REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Probably because we have already got medicine shortages as listed above by two other posters (including me if you want to dispute it). Because pharmacies are stockpiling certain medications because they are worried about loss of supply.

Oh well, at least Big Ben won't be bonging to "celebrate" this utter fucking bullshit idea. I hope every Brexiter ends up poorer and moaning about the lot they voted for.

Just in case anyone is short of things to do on Friday night.

"Brittish" pride with Melbourne's Kylie Minogue.

Fucking Beetles????

This Matt Berry thing on bbc 2 is hilarious.

Well its finally time, I didn't vote for this but have always maintained an open mind about it being some part of a success. When we wake up tomorrow the transitional period begins and then things become interesting so I will watch and listen and hope that things work out well.

I should say that I fully believe that this was brought about by the harder left, the globalists, the identity politics obsessed and those that really do hate their own country (like Johnny xD)

I hope now that we can move away from the absurdity of the woke, towards something more balanced.

Happy Brexit day to you all, raise a glass to our wonderful not so United Kingdom!

This whole farse has been one of the biggest disappointments of my life.

You do realise we haven't had the vote on what to do with foreign posters yet, you. Alan, T3ch and Monstrum had better watch out :)

We gonna build a wall and create a board for us since the rest of the forum will turn to "British first". Sad times.

#thick is the number one trend in twitter. Can’t think why.

GB 2020. Anybody who thinks differently is thick. Twitter, that great forum of intellectual debate. The font of all knowledge.

It would help your argument if everyone who they interviewed on the streets last night wasn't

I do not have an argument as I would never advocate who is thick and who isn't (on both sides of the coin).

There is no sense of gloating from me and to be fair parties and candlelit vigils make me cringe. The focus is jobs and prosperity. Lets see what happens .. the buck now stops at Westminster.

It always did. They just used the EU as an excuse to do whatever they wanted and blame the EU.

You'd be surprised the amount of foreign posters we've banished from here :)

Now, I have vehemently disagreed with so much you have spouted on this thread over the time it has existed, but your second sentence is the truth to a decent degree.

Your view is probably that this is a chance to grow jobs and prosperity. My view is that the best they are likely to achieve is not losing too much of either. We'll see.

The buck absolutely stops at Westminster. Unfortunately, I have now zero trust in the idiot number ten incumbent and his foul cohorts.

The staunchest of remainers and leavers would readily accept there are both pros and cons which means a difficult decision that has to be carefully thought through but calling people thick does not help at all. I linked Tony Benn earlier and he succintly describes the way I feel. I've long since grown out of the Rule Britannia bollocks but there is an open debate as to what Nationalism truly means. I am open-minded ..

I think Johnson has a massive job but truth be told the new relationship will be forged by corporations not by him but I do see a positive energy from all European people to take back their lives and I truly thi nk with the buck stopping at Westminster we have a massive opportunity.

I don't see a lot of pros just at the moment.

There are many, many extremely testing decisions ahead. And a lot of those will be about choosing a "least bad" option.

I will take a lot of convincing that this is somehow an opportunity.
