It was Henry, not James.

They tried talking sense to him and he wouldn't have it. There's only one language these people (anthropomorphic trains) understand.
FIND your ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ name by taking your first name and writing it on the side of a train.

I am having Thomas as it is my fucking surname!!

Anyway, Henry was a very naughty boy because his smokebox was inadequate and he blew steam and soot over everyone, hence the bricking up. But all was well, he was sent away to Crewe and came back with a lovely new boiler and smokebox shape and all was well, he could even go as fast as Gordon.

Looks like a good time for that Elephant to have a lie down

@bbc5live
Nicky Campbell: What word beginning with B best sums up the mood today?
Dominic Raab: Optimism.

Interesting selection of amendments on the order paper. Basically by disallowing a couple of the Conservative amends, it has become even more difficult for the Conservative rebels to vote in favour of the deal.

Anyone would think that Bercow was playing political games.

He's rejected the Murrison one because it's drivel. It called for the backstop to have a final end date of 2022. It doesn't even start until 2022 under the current plan (I use the term loosely).

It is going to be interesting to see just how big this defeat is tonight. She could lose by 50, she might lose by 200. The one thing she won't do is win.

And I honestly don't think she'll back down one iota, no matter how significant her inevitable defeat is.

She's a disaster and a fucking stubborn one at that.

Goodness knows what will happen next, but I still think we're a LONG way away from any kind of resolution.

She won't leave of her own accord (because she's a massive, massive cunt) and because of her own party's stupid internal rules, they can't challenge her for another 11 months. Labour won't win a vote of no confidence.

The only feasible way out is an extension of A50 or a very soft brexit. She'll go for neither and drive us off the edge of the cliff. Bright side is she will be first against the wall come the reckoning.

She won't get the chance to drive us off the cliff. I could see some remain backing Conservatives (Gauke/Rudd/Clarke/Morgan/Grieve) joining Labour in a vote of no confidence if she starts the engine for that journey.

The first no confidence vote will have all Conservatives supporting her. It depends on what Plan B she comes back with for any future confidence vote.

All she'll do is waste everyone's time and patience. She's like a cockroach - she'd survive a nuclear blast. Not due to any kind of competency, but because she's a stubborn witch. No way she'll revoke A50 - I can see an extension, but why bother with that if we won't get anything more from the EU?

The Tories won't force her out if it means even the slightest hint of them losing power. They won't give a fuck about what's best for the country over party politics.

It's an utter farce of a situation.

Closing speeches are like a fucking playground

And the Bercow stands up and says

"calm yourselves, zen..."

He is definitely several sandwiches short of a picnic, but bloody entertaining as a speaker.

Corbyn and the SNP decided not to move their amendments. Interesting. I think they are VERY confident of a massive thumping for t-bag.

Whoever voices John Bercow on R4 Dead Ringers, Think it might be Jon Culshaw, is bang on the money.

If there are amendments, May could say that no one actually voted on her deal... This way it's her deal that gets smashed

Well the vote on that amendment wasn't a waste of time
