Hilarious, brilliant or preposterous: it’s hard to know exactly in which category Goldman Sach’s latest hiring falls. Two weeks after the Brexit vote, the American investment bank – to my mind, still one of the best and most successful companies in the world – has recruited José Manuel Barroso, the former president of the European Commission, as the chairman of its international operations, a non-exec, advisory role.

My golden rule, never gob off on the internet!!! To call someone an imbecile on the internet is very brave. You wouldn't do it to my face, I guarantee you. So wind your neck in, don't try to look tough on the internet, and grow up.

Maybe you should add irony to your dictionary too.

I have absolutely no intention of frequenting with bottom feeding arsehats like you so you'll never get to test the rest of your presumption will you.

You are starting to be childish again. Doesn't suprise me you are a coward as well. Laughable.

Polite request - Leave the Personal insults out please (infact pretty please)

Oh dear the terrible three, lemonjelly, Johnny and now MarkakaJim. Hahaha.

It's a genuine question.

I've never done a job that I'd class as manual labour, certainly nothing industrial, but I'd certainly say I'm from a working class background.

Didn't you use to sit down/hide in pre-made wardrobes a lot at Ikea? Back breaking work IIRC?

I genuinely believe if you are from a working class background, but study and get a good job, you are still working class. It is in your culture. I obviously think it is good for you to want your kids to improve.

I suppose technically I was working in a warehouse for much of my time there but it's not like I was constantly lumping shit around in a big distribution place or anything, it's primarily self service so I was just wandering round for the most part making a half arsed attempt to look busy so people wouldn't ask me things. Definitely a much more retail than manual labour, just answering shit loads of usually moronic questions rather than getting your hands dirty.

So your earlier manual/industrial definition wasn't very clear then?

I think calling someone an imbecile is the personal insult. Telling someone not to gob off on the internet is not an insult. It's telling someone not to insult you from the the safety of computer screen. He then insulted me again, but mentioned i would never get the pleasure of meeting him to find out. Someone who insults you on the internet, but wouldn't in real life, is a coward. That's not an insult but an obsevation.

I think he has a LOT of time on his hands over there in Spain and just types things to amuse himself. It is the only rational explanation.
There is nothing rational. There is evasion, there is deceit, there is delusion, and there is hypocrisy, but there is definitely nothing rational.

IMO anybody that has to go to work to provide for themselves or for their families in order to get by is working class. Those who worked all of their lives up until retirement can be classed as the same.

I could probably write a book about it, but Labour have lost many of the Industrial heartlands. Working class to me is like a cultural thing. The way you act in given circumstances. Your manners and your interaction with other people. You can't make yourself working class, it in your blood. Like I believe, you can't teach someone to dance to northern soul. It is what you know, it comes naturally.
Labour could always depend on the working class vote, mine included. It can't anymore.

Again you were caught lying about my olives and corruption. I proved it. The forum could see it, so don't call me deceitful. It was you who was caught lying.
