Must admit I took from Docs interview that he was including himself in the 'cowards' comments. Cant see anything to criticise in what he said about players looking to move on and their attitude. Also O'Neill is a prick at times.
There's plenty already to criticise Doherty about.

The point being that people actually are giving him a bye because of that interview. I've seen people referring to him as a 'legend' for his comments. He's not a legend, he's a fucking disgrace.

It was clear under Vitor that we were not fit , and that he was slowly losing the respect of the players . However , if nothing has changed on the training front under Edwards then that is very poor indeed .

It seems the last few managers have had problems with fitness and attitude, maybe its just that the whole club from top to bottom has been allowed to drift with no overall plan or impetus since Nuno was sacked.

If only a few of the signings we’ve made over the past three years had been vaguely ok we could happily sell all of the rats that want to leave but there’s nobody other than Enzo coming through and there’s little to suggest he’s anywhere near good enough. The last 4 managers including GON replacing him have all said their predecessor didn't have the players fit enough. Seems like an easy button to press to me, because the squad is completely different from when Lop first said it

Absolutely. Lop’s team were fit enough so no reason to believe they weren’t fit after a preseason under him.

It was clear from pre-season something wasn’t right. I was trying to convince myself that it would be fine once games started etc. but seeing the Everton game for my own eyes you could see already a) the players weren’t fit and b) he’d lost them
