QuestionTime With PPB, Instead of Sir Robin Day .

So when you ask for an appointment and you're told the name of the physician you're seeing do you ask, 'Doctor Who?'

*coat please*

Bloody hell Johnny, that was worse than one of Franks !

Is anyone having any fireworks this year on Bonfire Night, or going to an organised one ? We know TP probably isn't, but what about you others? Do you even like fireworks ? Do you dislike them because they fighten your dog, cat, wake the baby up, they are noisy, annoyed that ya neighbours never invite you to theirs, they are a waste of money etc etc etc ?

No
No
Don't mind them
My Dog & Cat don't see to mind them at all and last night someone near us was recreating the bombing of Coventry
They are a waste of money though.
I once sold Fireworks to Kevin Keen (the git was then playing for Stoke and had just played a part in destroying us at Molineux)

Yes I'll be having a few rockets, some Chestnuts roasting on me Chimera, whilst sitting by me bonfire consisting of old bookcases, a neighbours shed, wooden headboard and part of a tree that fell down last week.

Don't see the point in doing your own, as they're prohibitively expensive, & purely better safe than sorry.
Do love a good fireworks display though. Went to West Parks display last night & it was superb. 5 years running I've been there & love it.

Haven't done my own fireworks for years - might go to the organised one at the ND Rugby Club ground as that's usually pretty good.

The best displays I have seen is when I lived in Epsom where if you went up onto Epson Downs by the racecourse you overlooked the whole of South London - usually a big barbecue setup & a fantastic display over a 180 degree arc - + (apart from the food & drink) didn't cost anything

What was the question again?

We are nearly into December so Christmas questions are allowed.

Favourite Christmas film ?

Do people still listen to the Queens Speech, or does everyone reach for the button to mute her ?

Ever had a memorable snog under the mistletoe ?

Do you attend Church over the Christmas period, whether it be for Carols, Midnight Mass, or the kids Nativity play ?

What do you prefer on your Christmas pud, cream or custard ?

What's always on top of your tree, fairy, star, or other ?

Elf, only bearable one.

No need for mute, wouldn't even be on the right channel.

Ever had a memorable snog under the mistletoe ?

Nope.

Do you attend Church over the Christmas period, whether it be for Carols, Midnight Mass, or the kids Nativity play ?

Behave.

What do you prefer on your Christmas pud, cream or custard ?

The packaging.

What's always on top of your tree, fairy, star, or other ?

No idea.

:)

This is a hard one. So many to choose from but will say Its A Wonderful Life & Polar Express.

No I bloody do not.

Does Wolves 'Wolfie' count ? If so then yes.

No I do not.

Single cream.

A 30 year old fairy who is going bald and who looks pissed up.

personally, I think we should only answer these when we reach december.....
Favourite Christmas film ?
Die Hard, or It's a Wonderful Life I guess...

No telly in the jelly house is turned on before 6.00pm on christmas day.
Ever had a memorable snog under the mistletoe ?
Can't recall one, so no obviously.

No.
What do you prefer on your Christmas pud, cream or custard ?
Custard, if I have christmas pud. TBF I usually overdo the dinner (roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, stuffing etc etc) & can't fit a pudding in.
What's always on top of your tree, fairy, star, or other ?
A star.

This should be banned until December but I've missed these questions so fuck it.

Favourite Christmas film ?

Die Hard. An absolute masterpiece.

Do people still listen to the Queens Speech, or does everyone reach for the button to mute her ?

I'm too busy to watch telly on Christmas Day (even Dr Who gets the Sky + treatment - I've Lego to play with!), but would have no problem listening to her if someone else insisted. I like the Queen.

Ever had a memorable snog under the mistletoe ?

No. But hopefully will this year. :)

We used to take the kids to a carol service at a local church on Christmas Eve, but for obvious reasons we won't be doing that this year and TBH I can't see me doing so again. The kids have their own nativity plays at school and nursery (my daughter is camel friend #2 and has her costume - it's ace), so I won't be going to a church this year.

The carol service is really nice actually - even as an atheist I see no problem in showing my kids why some people celebrate Christmas the way they do. They'll make their own minds up about it when they're old enough.

What do you prefer on your Christmas pud, cream or custard ?

I don't particularly like Christmas pudding.

What's always on top of your tree, fairy, star, or other ?

Not sure - it's not anything that stays the same every year. I'd leave the decorations alone until as late as possible if I had my way. Unnecessary faffing.

I'm only going to be around until December 11th asking questions so thought I'd start early :)
