Yes.'Everyone' where I grew up sailed the seas so I did too for a number of years.My family on my father's side were fishermen at least 3 generations back so it was in the blood.

Do you ever do it now ? I think you have to be really brave to be a fisherman.Treacherous seas and weather, a scary job to do for a living

Now I just fish for fun,with a rod.We had very good boats,but in winter it was always dangerous.Getting washed overboard was/is the big killer.

At four I wanted to be a dustman, and park my truck on my parents' drive.

Then I wanted to be a doctor. But discovered I wasn't too keen on blood and that the smell of hospital wards made me faint, so that put the kibosh on that one.

So, I thought, what makes loads of money? I know - I'll be a lawyer. Fucking hideous mistake. In hindsight I wish I had gone into a postgrad entry at one of the big retailers. Probably would have been a lot more successful and a lot happier.

I like what I do now, by the way. Never a day without a laugh at footie-gifts towers. Sometimes, Kenny even makes the tea.
