Poached eggs when done right are the don.
Getting them right is something I've achieved about once in my 40 odd years though. I share paddys & kennys pain.

I've only cooked poached eggs once but they turned out well.

Lined a couple of ramekins with cling film, cracked the eggs into them and then twist the loose cling together to create a little bag off egg which then gets plunged into the water.

I believe that's coddling sir. To poach is to be in direct contact with the water....

14 was the first time I got drunk, got served in a pub or went to a nightclub. It was also the age I first got thrown out of a nightclub (although it certainly wasn't the last) and it was when I started going to giggs - twas a good year...

Yes Paddy, had ribs on a MG here, bit ridiculous really, could of fed a family of 4 on the ribs alone tbh.

What age did you have your first drink of alcohol? Young 7 maybe? I recall having a very weak port with lemonade, sherry with lemonade & snowballs at Christmas. Didn't like the beer when given a sip by my old man. Moving into a pub at 11 broadened my horizons further.

No real preference whether shower or bath. It depends on the time I have to get ready.

Hot drink made first. Milk added afterwards. I don't take sugar.

I have a shower every morning. Haven't had a bath in years.

Milk/sugar in first, or after the hot water?
Tea bag & sugar first, add hot water, put milk in last. I like my tea strong, the milk has to be last otherwise you could put too much in to begin with and the tea is ruined.

T-shirt or polo shirt?
I only wear short sleeves in summer but then it's a t-shirt. I don't think I own any polo shirts.

Probably about 13/14. I was allowed to go to the pub every weekend at 16 (despite looking about 12). They didn't care in the New Inn by the market in Wolves, they served anyone in there!
