As I said on the verdict thread - play four at the back and we look conceding every time the opposition attack, we can't do anything. We let players run straight onto centre halves who hate being ran at, we don't defend crosses properly, we don't stop crosses, we make basic errors regularly. Play five at the back and we're ok defensively in general, but we never ever look like scoring. We go down the Ole route of just hoping one of the good players up front does something special.
So yeah, structural problems whichever way you frame it. What doesn't help is having either a kid (talented, but a kid) or a complete joke (called it after 2-3 games that he was shit, you could just tell he was more Sagbo than Sturridge as loan signings go, no idea how he has scored goals anywhere) up top, that's not a sustainable situation ever.
However relegation is a complete non-issue. IF we lost every single game then it'd maybe be a 50:50 shout. We obviously are not going to lose every game.
