Only managed to dip In and out of the first half. Disappointed he went with the 343 even if it was a bit lopsided and was that hybrid formation like against city with Corbeanu on the right.

It just doesn’t work at either end. And more defenders doesn’t mean more solid. Just play the 4231/433 and make your full backs and outside midfielders less adventurous. Or even just make it a 451.

We just need to move away from this back 5. Switching between wildly different systems is no good for anyone anyway. Just make plan A better or small modifications rather than being mediocre at both.

Lost out on the US tour , so I'd imagine it was more difficult to organise fixtures in a manner that we would have preferred .
