****POLL NOW IN OP****Who do you want next?

depending of incoming players of course, you have to adjust from that,,impossible to say right now..but i like 4-2-3-1 if we have good DM's then we can threaten in the middle from CM and AM

OK experts, what style of play is the standard from Fonseca?

Close to Nuno or just short of Fred's favoured 1-1-8 formation?
I’m pretty sure it was his Shakhtar team that were really good to watch. Didn’t do that badly at Roma really from what I can tell.

If we do go for him quite quickly it feels a little bit like when we sacked Lambert (miles apart in terms of abilities) but that someone became available to us that we thought could improve us

I guarantee you that not one person in the world thought yesterday that replacing Nuno with Paulo Fonseca was a good idea. Not even Paulo Fonseca.

We don’t, but they may think. I don’t know, I’m at a loss to explain this all as it is

Agree but here we are.

Don't and probably will never know the full story, so down to those who made the call to do what they think is right.

I feel for you. Did not realise you were such a sensitive soul. Seriously Nuno was clearly not happy with being away from his family. I wish him every happiness.

Comments on sensitivity from the guy who gets triggered by emoji's :ROFLMAO: bore off. Not one person knows why he's left and might never know. That doesn't exclude people from being saddened by his moving on, nor does it mean I dont wish him every happiness or success in the future.

Its no surprise I have to explain this to you when judging you're comments about Joao the other other evening its clear you've the emotional range of a microwave arrogant idiot.

So who's in the running again? I see a lot of names being thrown here and there.

Lage? Fonseca?

You may be right. But if Jeff has decided Nuno will never be able to go better than 7th because of his defensive style, then now is the easiest time to sell the decision to everyone.

Time will tell as always. Depending on who we get of course.

Any international managers likely to go after the Euros?

The Belgian manager...

Oh you wouldn't....and if you do we need to have strong words with you.
It's a figure of speech. But you would need to literally point a gun to my head to make me choose between them.

A bit of a down low on Lage here. He seems kind of a more attacking Nuno - gives youth a chance, plays exciting football, but ultimately a bit stuck in his ways and not very good at knockout football with a conservative approach preferred:

In a like for like sense no. To a manager who has been there a couple of seasons, is taking them forwards and has a 5 year contract, then probably
Is he taking them forward?

From a playing style point of view yes, they are better than under Hughton. But in terms of points, position etc they aren't really much better off.

I'm not saying I want Potter, but I'd think if we did come knocking he would certainly be interested. We've finished above them the last 3 years, been in a European quarter-final, and have ambitious owners who will provide better budgets.

Thinking he would ignore us to stay at Brighton is seriously underplaying where we are as a club now
