Lewis is just too cute. Does he dribble though?

I dont mind dogs but not sure I could put up with one that has candles of spit hanging. Can't stand that.

Id be interested in anything of yours that's 6" mate :2xGay:

Thought I'd bump this to show off this photo I took of my GF's dog when we went to Wales this weekend.

He's a dude - and he appears to go crazy (in a good way) whenever I go round to see them. My kids love him too. I've never had a dog before - and spending as much time as I do with one now, why do some people prefer cats?! Dogs are ace.

That's reddit worthy, cool pic.

A valid question. Always had dogs and cats when living with my Mom and loved both. Now I have my own place I have a cat I think I'm a cat person.

At least dogs don't do this;

FFS :icon_lol:

I had to learn to tolerate cats as my ex had 2 of the fuckers. TBF I don't dislike them anywhere near as much as I used to - in fact I can actually tolerate them now - but dogs are way cooler. #teamdog

Cats are easier to look after - mine takes herself out when she wants rather than having to be walked by me. Plus can easily leave her for 24 hrs with an auto feeding system when I come up for games.

TBF doesn't do a lot (apart from sleep) for much of the day, but she is getting older as am I, so probably a suitable partnership.

They bury their crap too. Often in other people's gardens too. It's a win / win.

That upsets my neighbour enormously - I always claim that my cat doesn't go out of my garden as she is nervous as hell (we believe that she was locked up in a dark cupboard a lot in her formative years) so his problem must be down to the other cats down the road (there are a fair number)

I lost my retriever in December and my sister lost hers a few days later. I'm fighting a battle to stay pet free at the moment but my sister has a new one that we can visit.

So here go the stereotypes:surrender:

Here are my two Miniature Bull Terriers who died in 2017- Rocket the Brindle and Dynamite the Red.

And here is Jack who is now 1 year old

English Bull terriers or Miniature Bull terriers since I first had a dog in 2004.

I must admit I love our dog. He is fucking bonkers and remarkably stupid, but he gives unconditional love. When does a cat ever do that?

I lost my budgie in January. Still not ready to get another one, that broke me for a while.

My dog keeps snapping cruciate ligaments, the dopey bastard. It's getting fucking expensive.

Mine (sort of) does - whenever I sit in the recliner chair to watch TV, then will immediately get down from wherever she is & jump onto my lap - cheaper than putting the heating up in the winter., plus if I have been away for a day follows me round the house for a fair bit of time

Feeding time

Our cat was ace though. She was a grumpy fuck in the final year of her life but still ace.

Adding Nuno the Cocker to the family was a great idea as it has helped Lewis when it comes to being more socialable with other dogs. It wasn't a major issue but I think he was just unsure on how to deal with other dogs when they came running at him
