Lima unlucky to be subbed. Did ok. Guedes and Hwang have been Guedes and Hwang and RAN has been RAN. 🙄

This is it people say we’re better but then proceed to say that Hwang, Doyle, Guedes and RAN have been shit, very contradictory.
That’s basically every matchday thread where we don’t win by 3 tbf

Out of curiosity, what would you define as ‘better side’?

I wouldn’t agree this is ‘same old’ Wolves like we were under GoN, personally
I've said it on enough other posts, but very briefly if you don't score chances, the other side does, none of that is down to luck or poor refereeing, then they are the better side.

I do think there’s a bit of moral victory (or something positive, anyway) to be taken from the performance but ultimately you’re spot on; it’s like people forget that goals are how the result is decided.

This game is long gone I’m afraid, Forest comfortably have us at arms length here.

Fair enough. Whilst I agree with the premise of usually ‘if you lose you deserve to lose’ etc there’s still positives from the first half performance as isn’t a stretch to see we ‘should’ be level, rather than we deserve to be..

Really impressed with Lima. More than held his own and shown some promise.

Doyle looks rusty to me. Issues with not using the squad and subs enough I feel. Did some okay stuff and them some other stuff that was much more variable quality wise.

On this showing I'd potentially consider him for a loan and look to use Traore more, if his injury/fitness is sorted.

Do we get half a point for a moral victory 😊
