Have to say Jonny has taken pelters in that first half (rightly so, for their goal) but Saiss is having the stinker of all stinkers. Giving the ball away constantly and Pukki is just running off him time and time again. Would genuinely consider putting Kilman on to shore things up at the back a bit.

Coady has been shocking. Not a single crossfield pass from him that we’ve got used to watching in the entire first half.

Nothing is sticking with Raul or Jota and it’s leaving our only attacking intent and threat to be Traore and they’ve managed him reasonably well by just sticking 2 and sometimes 3 players on him at a time.

Light and day from last week. I hope Nuno fires a rocket up their collective arses.

That's where I think we've been so poor, Moutinho has had a shocker. Unusual for him, Jonny and Raul to be so poor but it's killing us so far.

Coady's getting ripped to bits by Pukki too.

I'm sure we'll be better second half as we can't be much worse.

What a shocking 1st half. Very lucky this is only 1-0. Cant say anyone bar Patricio has put in an even average performance. 3 or 4 out of 10 for everyone.

Cant believe we aren't 3 or 4 down,its one of those matches that shows up that we are playing 3 midfielders in the back 3.
Love Moutinho but ive always criticised his corners, could we try someone else (on them) for a change if Neto isn't on the pitch.

It does feel very “Cardiff away” last season when we just couldn’t get going against a very average side.

Agree with those saying about ball retention, they are guiding us into areas where we then just lift the ball into Jimenez. Only times we look threatening is when playing to feet and combining around them.

Just an idea, but Bennett for Doherty and put Dendoncker or Saiss into midfield for 352? (Adama to RB) might help plug the holes at both CB and in midfield.

Sounds as if Rui is the only one who has kept this down to 1 & us vaguely still in the game.

If we don't get better then will not be in it at the end.

No reason why we can't put three or four in second half. These days even at our worst we seem capable of turning it around.

I wouldn't see it as a negative, it would give us the initiative.

He’d still be a huge threat there, as they won’t be able to flood 3 players around him deeper (as they are now) he’d get a head of steam up which is where he is best.

Anyway, it’s not going to happen.
