Can’t see one yet….

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on Harvey Barnes' injury: "He’s had a scan. It’s not too bad but he will miss the upcoming games. We're looking at around a month."
On whether Alexander Isak, Sven Botman, Jacob Murphy and Joe Willock will be available after missing the FA Cup win against Bromley: "We'll have a look at them again today. They were left out with genuine reasons, all different things, but nothing major we hope. So minor problems that we needed to settle down. Fingers crossed they'll be there or thereabouts."

No word on Nelson , so the team picks itself then . As above . I'm not expecting much here .

Our mid week fixture results don't tend to be good .

I assume Cunha is fit and ready - injury against Spurs and all that .

Forest result effectively wiped out the GD of the Leicester result so while I'm not going O'Neil on it, I think we have to be focused on our defensive set up first and then with (hopefully) Cunha back we've got players to try and exploit any opportunities that come our way.

We can ill afford another dent on the GD. Considering their form, I'd snap your hand off for a point but these winning runs have to end somewhere for everyone and we're far more likely to break it now than 3 weeks ago.

Does Dan Burn get much game time for them? Despise that big tree with a passion

VP warning we have to be careful with Cunha's minutes, Toti's injury worse than first feared

Even more important to get a LCB in now then. Definitely need to manage Cunhas minutes. If we need to be careful that suggests he's not properly fit.

.......................... Sa

..... Doherty - Bueno - Agbadou

Semedo - Andre - Gomes - RAN

...... Guedes - Larsen - Cunha

Rodrigo will be a useful option off the bench, either at wing-back or up front.

Newcastle was where Neto was flogged last year. Clearly struggling with his hamstring and 2-0 down we kept him on and next game it properly went.

Agreed. And if we sign a LCB we can move Agbadou over to the right. Got a feeling that one will drag on to the end of the window, though.

Which one?

Agbadou on the left might be the best combination we have, but I thought he looked uncomfortable there on Saturday. Not particularly fair on him while he's trying to settle.
