We're a very chunky 5/1 with Coral to win on Sunday as it stands. Now I wouldn't hand on heart say "we're going to win", but those are weird odds given the respective form. Worth a fiver anyway.

Iā€™m sure Iā€™ve currently got a ā€œworth a fiverā€ bet on Albion to be relegated from one of your previous tips. I do hope this one is more successful. I say in jest šŸ˜‚

They ruined it by sacking Wor Steve! He had them right on track.

He never stood a chance there, the fans hated him purely for managing Blues and Villa.

Tindall is *such* a wanker on the touchline.

I hate his shit 90s catalogue model vibe too. Can just see him pointing inanely at a Black & Decker Workbench. Mahogany man.

Hadn't realised they''ve only won once since boxing day (excl Cup games). Their league form is actually pretty bad.

Given this, we ought to be going into the game with some optimism ( or at least being more optimistic than I originally felt)

Unsurprisingly most of the Newcastle fans in my local last night were fairly confident they will beat us. There wasn't anyone thinking we could win. Which given the respective league positions is understandable, not necessarily the case based on current form though. I just feel we still have enough periods in games where we still play like a Bruno Lage team that defeat is always likely.

I think Almiron by himself has more goals than our top two scorers combined? Or close. So I can understand why they'd not think of us as a threat.

I have this sneaking hunch that Newcastle have run out of gas and will kind of just drift along for the rest of the season.

Including Cup Games they also lost to League One Sheffield Wednesday and wilted in the League Cup final, the World Cup killed their momentum as much as it halted our slide IMO.

I always get more anxiety about games against Newcastle than any other team, I guess it's because I live amongst the Toon Army and have to put up with their gloating if we lose. So we'd better not lose (I think we probably will, but ssshh, keep that quiet). Come on me babbies!

Iā€™ll get back home half an hour before kick off. With a decent assortment of DIPAs and TIPAs to neck while Iā€™m watching it. Happy days. Come on Wolves, three points today would be the dogā€™s.
