Black stripes, Mark. Black stripes.

Adidas have had a shocker with Sunderland's new home kit. I hope they do a much better job with ours!

Fucking hell that is awful. Looks like a Saint George's Cross in the middle with two white stripes either side.

That was a cracking top. I loved the early 90's away one even more, though.

There is a thread somewhere about favourite football shirts. I can't remember if I contributed or not but if I did I hope I put that Arsenal away top in my list.

I always loved the Spurs Hummel/Holsten 1986 with Chevrons across the chest

Leicester away & 3rd kit:

I think the Leicester home will be the template we use.

Would quite like the template they are using on the pink kit with whiteor black being the main colour

Not a fan of the check pattern going on, on that Leicester home shirt. Reminds me of a table cloth & looks cheap.

That pink kit is disgusting too.

The best kit I have seen so far is the Arsenal home shirt.

We had a kit in the early 90's in that check pattern (Scoreline maybe just before they went bust)

The short lived Scoreline kit was more like the Leicester one above (think I had the light blue away kit), the Bukta one was slightly different

We wore the Bukta one for the first time against Newcastle at home around early November 1991 - it was Scoreline before. Mark McGhee was Newcastle's captain that day.

Any guesses who wore the armband for us?

(I know all this because my best mate was mascot and had to get the Bukta kit at very short notice!)

The shortlived Scoreline shirt had the checked pattern, the Bukta replacement was a very similar design but Wolfheads and abstract replaced the checks
