Neto or Jota - higher ceiling?

Podence is class, much higher potential than Neto imo (not to disservice Neto, I think he'll do really well).

Also, on the original question. I think Jota has the higher ceiling.

Podence seems to be the smartest of the three by a country mile.

Huh? One thing that’s struck me about Neto is his ability to be where he needs to be when he needs to be there. Man City aside but everybody was chasing shadows in that first half. Look at his run when Raul scored against Sheff Utd, genius.

And he needs to do it more often is what I mean. I feel like at times he gets too caught up in floating around and being near enough to a good spot, but doesn't always follow through. Perhaps it is the City game sticking fresh in the mind, but particularly out of possession he kind of acts generally useful but doesn't go far enough in any one direction. Ends up flitting in and out of games as a result, IMO. Hardly a cardinal sin for a 19/20 year old, mind.

Neto brings more things to the table. If he continues to improve he will be one hell of a player. Jota looked great second half of his first season in the PL but didn’t replicate that last season other than in odd flashes. If you’d asked me this time last year I’d have said Jota had a higher ceiling than practically any forward of his age in the PL, but now I think Neto will go on to be the better player.
