Mijas is up in the hills which look down on fuengirola. It's after benalmadena. Famous for donkey rides, if you like that sort of thing.

The village is up in the hills, but the municipality has a beach area la Cala de Mijas. I’ve seen a Wolves fan on Twitter called Mijas Wolves and just checking on there he either runs or frequents The 19th Hole in La Cala de Mijas, so this seems to be a different one to The Pirate in neighbouring Benalmedina. Mijas Wolves are frequently inviting Wolves fans on holiday to join them to watch the match.

It's like Stafford and Staffordshire. My mum and step dad live in the mijas municipality. La cala is a town on mijas Costa.

Edit - some good pubs in la cala, used to go to the big Irish bar a lot when i was younger.
