Maurice Daly

Hi All,

My uncle Maurice Daly played for Wolves from 1973-78. He left his home in Dublin as a 17 year old and played at underage level all the way up to the senior team until he left along with manager Sammy Chung for Sweden.

Along with his international caps for Ireland, Maurice’s time at Wolves is of enormous pride to his family and is the reason for the passionate group of Wolves supporter here.

Thomas my 9 yo son is a in awe of his uncle and is a proud wolves fan. He wears the old gold jersey with Chuna on the back practicing for Kinnegad Juniors FC. Great to see when all the other kids wear Liverpool and Manunited kits.
I’d love to be able to share some of the history of his time in Wolverhampton with him and the rest of our family. If anyone has any photos or pics of a program with a mention of Maurice I would be so grateful if you could share it with me.
