OK apart from the dire 10 mins in the middle of the half. - Need to keep the ball on the deck & run at the Bolton defence as they sound very nervous when that happens.

Well that was a bit of a pisser! We do seem to shut down for little spells and never really in control mastering the midfield. We just don't seem to do it.

All to play for to get back to level....
Disappointing. Although Laparra and Dicko have shown that they can get behind the big Bolton backs...

We had 45% possession in that half and only 2 shots with 1 on target.

That's got to change for sure.

Think the best formation to play to fit all these in is 433 with a narrow 33 and very attacking full backs, hopefully we come out fighting in the second half- KJ is good at doing that!

Are Bolton still play 3-5-2?

If so, I'd be tempted to go 4-4-2. Might lose the middle of the pitch (doesn't feel as if we are in control anyway) but giv us more outside against full backs. Evans and Henry for Edwards and Price?

Snow capped Pennines glowering over the wasteland that is Euxton more or less where this stadium is situated.
Wheater back in to Trotter but Iorfa intercepts and works it forward, Price has it to Stearman to half way to Golbourne to Stearman to Batth back in the circle to Price a lovely ball to Afobe who's tackled inside the box and Afobe ends up on his knees and arms upraised... We think the ball got done first then Afobe got cleaned out... Not a pen.

Afobe running forward slots it to VLP who as the offside flag goes up slots that ball into the side netting. Edwards was a 2nd best option...

Afobe gets away from his man, into the box - comes together with Bolton defender & takes a tumble.

Calling for a penalty but ref not interested - looks as if the defender got a foot to it first.

Afobe driving forward again through to VLP shot into the side netting but called offside. Edwards not offside & if VLP had left it might have been a better chance
