Oh boy. This one could hurt. I've quite enjoyed the international week for a change as it's meant I haven't had to watch us defend like an U8s team.
I've gone on record as saying that I don't think moving to three CHs will change anything, but it seems an inevitability (and we'll lose here, but it's City so what do you expect, and we'll keep it when we shouldn't, and we'll go through the same bloody cycle as we have for about four years now). It'll mean that Forbs probably misses out after looking a bright spot against both Liverpool and Brentford. But hey, play Stonehenge. That'll solve everything. The question is how much more bottom could we be and the answer is none, none more bottom.
If we MUST do it then I would put Semedo at RCH and bring Lima in. If you're going to switch it around in this manner then a) we could do with the pace at CH and b) we need a proper attacking threat in both wing back positions, or else we end up with the stodgy rubbish we're very much accustomed to. I would also give Lemina a break and hand the captaincy to either Dawson or Cunha in the short term. He simply isn't in any kind of form.
Buckle up and it'll be interesting to see how the crowd responds should we as expected go behind early and City threaten to run riot. There were plenty of grumbles from the away support last time out and people might finally be seeing that they're being taken for a ride by the clown in the chairman's office.
