We’re on a roll, they’re fielding an under strength team, never a better chance of doing the double over them so you can guess the most likely outcome. Be wonderful if Cunha and Munetsi can overcome that likely script.

Djiga was a change in direction. Danso failed so we spent some of the money on a player on our future radar. Possibility we would have moved for him in the summer. We now get a period to settle him in. Thankfully Doc has done a decent job to make that move work.

Forbs, possible we learnt from our error last season. Don't really want him now but an injury or 3 away from being short in a key area and this season it could have mattered.
Can see why we told Ajax no unless we could get a replacement in. Last Jan we let 2 strikers we didnt really want depart and regretted it very very quickly.
Stop trying to make sense.

A very generous appraisal of a signing who cost not much less than our much-maligned Zimbabwean and has contributed zero to our until recently desperate plight.

Not sure how you settle in sat on your arse, or how it's possible to think the move has 'worked'

Don’t worry. Someone will be along soon to patronise the match going fan about how you don’t understand the great unseen work he’s doing on that bench. You just don’t understand.

Not just about the football is it.

If we are still on the same track come next season i will agree but for now I can see he is being managed.

Anyway, rather pointless niggles aside, Bueno has looked OK recently. Suspect that was the opposition rather than any step change, but here’s hoping he keeps that going this afternoon. Doc on the bench though - bit odd?

Next season isn't relevant thought, he was a desperate January signing. Why buy a player in that perilous situation that needs six months to meaningfully step on a PL pitch and can't challenge Doc and Santi?

We’re disappointed at a dropped, possibly injured Matt Doherty and our star £60m striker is back in the side for Bellegarde.
What a difference 4 months makes….

It is relevant really if the signing was with an eye on what's ahead.

You think it's a waste of a signing and I currently don't. Thankfully we no longer look like a team that will concede for fun so it's not a massive issue.

Djiga was 10mill and MM was 16mill? Weren't they?

Djiga is 22, don't really understand the pant wetting.

It's nice to have a squad.

Next season isn't relevant though

Why not? We have comfortably avoided relegation, if we were still in the bottom 3 and he wasn't playing you'd have a huge point.

But the fact we are safe is precisely why next season is relevant?
