More shite from GoN. No one forced him to play Doc at right mid. Or to bring Fabio on whilst leaving Sasa on the bench. That’s all him, he may as well own it.

I do appreciate our fitness seems poor, especially given the press game he wants us to play. Don’t see any way he starts Santi tomorrow, though.

(So pleased I clocked my phone had autocorrected Santi to Santa before posting this or we’d have been in for another afternoon of shit puns)
Humbug to you too.

I don't quite get that analysis. We ran and ran for 90 minutes vs United but have seemed to have lacked fitness since. Either that was adrenalin for a one off or is it that he is working them too hard before the games?
Brighton wasn't fitness, we just emptied midfield and they took 3 chances out of 3 in 10 minutes.

We scored in the 87th minute at Everton.

Palace wasn't fitness, O'Neil decided to be a bad version of Colin Lee as soon as it went 1-1 with inevitable results.

Liverpool was fitness to a point because we put so much into the first half, a half which should have produced more than a 1-0 lead and Liverpool were never going to play as poorly again after HT. Then we made a dreadful double sub where we brought on two players who aren't even close to fit for purpose.

Tactics, bad finishing and having one of the worst CH pairings in the league are more at the heart of our 4 defeats in 5.

It seems like whoever starts, the player left out was always a better option once play starts. Based on the last game, do need to find a way for Sasa to be on field with a fresh Neto receiving those early crosses.

Very much not looking forward to this. Bit of a lose-lose today really, even if we win it won't feel like much of an achievement because everyone should be beating Luton. If we drop points with City & Villa up next it's going to be a properly grim time to be a Wolves fan.

On the flipside if we win then we'll have already put away two rivals to avoid the bottom three away from home, which is what we need to do and is currently the limit of the club's ambitions. It shouldn't be that way but it is.

Same team, same bench as vs Liverpool.

Ryan "Lee Naylor II" Giles dropped for them.

No sign of Santi Bueno then. Is he injured?

No point having him on the bench tbf, you're never going to bring on two centre halves and Toti covers LB as well as CH.

I've never knowingly watched him play so it's only really my complete disdain for the current pairing that has me picking him in mooted teams.

Hwang is less bad coming in from a wide position. As a central striker he offers similar to Fabio (just without the attitude).

Looking forward to this. They have home advantage but if we play like we did first half last week, we should win this quite comfortably. It's one of our easiest games of the season although no games are easy at this level. I expect victory. But this is Wolves.

Unchanged, Jesus. Did O'Neill not watch Cunha last week? He ain't, and never will be, a number 9. He's got to start trusting Kalajdzic getting on the end of Neto's supply line sooner or later if he values his job.

I don't think GoN is any good at all but he didn't play that way in the first half.

He played Klopp's Gegenpress style with Cunha in the Firmino role with Neto and Hwang in the wide roles.

I have no idea what he did in the 2nd half and that's the bit I'm dreading.

They’ll drag us down to their level. No chance we get a repeat of the Liverpool performance.

Massive game. We just need to find a way of getting three points.
