Decent first half all things considered.

RAN has been excellent both ends of the pitch. All the defence playing well.

The front three need to do more to keep the ball. A bit poor collectively.

Good to be level at the half, but they are having way too much of the ball which is I expected but we need to find a way to not make it so easy for them.

Did show some solid stuff towards the end though, hopefully we can build on that.

I don’t think Bruno can send us out playing the same way in the second half. There’s no way they don’t score if it carries on like that. I appreciate they’re very, very good, but we’re playing like some plucky League 2 side in the FA cup. We’ve got some serious quality in our starting 11 and we should be able to keep hold of the ball better than we are and we shouldn’t have to be doing all this last ditch defending.

I’d be tempted to go Adama up top with Raul (or Hwang) and get an extra body on in the middle in Moutinho.

I don’t disagree, really. Just think it’s clear that Liverpool are pushing us defensively in a way no team has come close to doing.

I’m thrilled with the score, whilst I recognize that a few players have been below what I consider to be par for them.
