Since Liverpool were promoted back to the top tier in 1961/62 Wolves have only ever won twice at Anfield - 1983/84 and 2010/11.

It is the one ground where we we literally get nothing from whether it be dodgy penalties, referees and VAR reviews etc etc.

Whenever we play Liverpool it feels like we’re playing the teachers pet who gets everything they want.2019 last game of the season Mane is clearly offside in last game before VAR, 2019 at xmas was a farce, yep offside is offside but missing a blatant handball in the build up to their goal. Season before we’d have won the game 0-1.
2020/21 they get to have some fans in the ground at home we have none.
The home game we’re not given 2 blatant penalties.
2023 cup game everyone knows we won it 2-3 but it’s chalked off due to camera angles etc. It’s swept under the carpet sharpish, Arsenal have a red card in a game they win and they are still moaning a week later.

I think this sets up as one of those games where you don't expect anything until you find yourselves 0-0 at the half. As long as Wolves then score 1st in 2nd half they could get a tie. Need Liverpool to keep playing the same way as their previous couple of games

Traore on the bench but forward options are slim unless we throw the Marshmallow up there again

I assume so. He’d have been perfect for hitting Liverpool on the break - which is presumably how we’re going to try and play.
Yeah you'd certainly imagine VP would have him on the bench over Forbs and Lima.

Cunha up against "Trent" our only chance of getting anything out of this I'd expect.

Attacking options are 'stretched' to say the least. Going to need to defend well to get anything. I'm not confident.

Media all writing us off quite smugly so I'd love to put a spanner in the works (don't expect it though)

Guedes` attitude/work ethic has seemed to have improved, looking for the same from Sarabia now.

His effort was great against Villa and nothing wrong with it at all when he came on at Blackburn last week.

Sky show started at 1pm.

So far it’s been 60% Man Utd/Spurs and 40% Liverpool.

Look forward to our token 5 minutes shortly before the match starts.
