Happy to see Villa getting tonked.... shame it's Spurs though.
The wife was there and is at Ipswich next week. I’m getting away with doing my own thing and hooking up at the final whistle but there’s a bit of pressure on. Always had an irrational dislike of Spurs which adds to the friction but hey-ho.

Not irrational... UEFA cup final and subsequent FA Cup semi took care of that... aside from Kane and his mob taking it in turns to hack down Adama. Horrible bunch amd most of their supporters are twats too.

Likewise . . . I have detested that club for well over 50 years . . . ManU, Citeh and Liverpool don’t come close for me.

Cracking hit.

Mad that Brentford and Fulham are both absolutely miles ahead of us now.

Watching Raul look fit and mobile again really tells me how much of a bellend Lage and Lopetegui were.
He didn't show any inkling of ever getting back to near his best for us though, never mind scoring regularly again.

I don't remember thinking we'd made a big mistake letting him leave put it that way.

I'm really glad for the guy after what he went through though. He deserves it.

I don’t think anyone did - £5m was seen as very good value by all on here I’d say. But shows the incompetence (Bruno) and negligence (Julen) id argue. And obviously patience needed to let him get back to his best.

Completely agree on your last line

I dunno - it was moving away from him.

Leno does seem to enjoy shithousing more than playing football these days though!
Some mitigating circumstances in that he'd just set himself, and had too much weight on his right foot which stopped him being able to get a better spring.

I think at that height then he'll be disappointed to get beaten by it.
