A soft foul but it's awful defending, no attempt to play the ball and just ends up clumsily dragging the player back as he enters the box. Don't think the ref has any choice on that one.

Doubly disappointing for Araujo as it was his own shit pass that came straight back to put the guy through.

Yeah bad defensively, probably had to give the red but the atracker certainly made the most of it as he knew he'd pushed the ball too far.

Attacker definitely hammed it up, when don't they? Araujo was having a laugh trying to claim it was shoulder to shoulder though, would've been better off giving up and praying his keeper bailed him out. At least it would've been 11v11 and still in their advantage on aggregate even if he'd scored.

If you take what they said on face value and it was either him or RAN then I'd have gone the route we did. Nuno didn't play him enough to justify signing him, so it's as much about him as Shi
