Arsenal fell away early last season, they haven't this season. They've pushed City until the final day and they've had to win every game. Its quite obviously a race, you just don't like the outcome of the race
18-19 and 21-22 were probably not title races either, as City ended up winning those by a point. Was always going to happen so no title race
So when Son had a great chance with minute go Arsenal fans just sat not caring because the title was decided weeks ago?The delusion is strong. City won the league weeks ago when Arsenal and Liverpool lost on the same day, everything since has been about getting to the inevitable conclusion. It's dull and bad for English football.
The only one with their head in the sand appears to be you. Despite it going to the final games and the possibility that Arsenal could be in pole position but for Spurs missing a golden opportunity you think the title was decided weeks ago.I wake up this morning to more tortured what ifs and if onlys, just as I did this time last year. The same team wins it every year and will next too, it's an inevitably, but you'll all get to again pretend that it isn't with new examples you can kid yourselves with
This is a daft stance. I can tell you unequivocally that up until 3 weeks ago all 3 managers had no clue who was going to win. 3 players from those 3 clubs had no idea either.I wake up this morning to more tortured what ifs and if onlys, just as I did this time last year. The same team wins it every year and will next too, it's an inevitably, but you'll all get to again pretend that it isn't with new examples you can kid yourselves with
I agree, but I also agree with Alan that once Pep leaves it’ll open up again a bit (at least for a couple of years ago).Foregone conclusion or not, City winning the title yet again is just incredibly dull.
To be honest, if Wolves weren't in the Premier League then I would probably have no interest in it whatsoever.
