You'd have to think he should be considering retiring. To collapse twice in less that a year is deeply worrying for the man. Football just isn't worth it.

What's the deal with player insurance I wonder?

Trafford makes a great save but then is absolutely nowhere off a corner and Onana scores.

I would have thought the club have insurance against the player. Whether the player has any kind of income protection policy I wouldn't know. Hopefully he's been getting good financial advice as the risk of a career abruptly ending could happen to any player.

If you're not insured then you have 0% chance of playing professionally, he will be covered.

Imagine finishing below Burnley (and your owners didn't sell your best 2 players immediately upon promotion/ your stadium capacity is in triple digits)

Absolute donkey touch, most of them

Confirmed by Luton it was cardiac arrest. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery, but surely he needs to retire now. Simply isn't worth it

100% this for his and his family’s sake his wife was in the crowd today, plenty of work he can get in football apart from playing.

Yes, great shame for the lad.
Strange that, he's been cleared to play after the first instance. You'd assume that after that, he'd be thoroughly checked and any procedures would have been carried out to prevent a reoccurrence.
You'd think he'd be cleard and safer to play than most others. If you know what I mean.

A fireman friend of mine had a couple of heart attacks and was forced to give up his job. He got a decent pension but he once told me that he could die at any time because of his heart condition. I don't know if this a similar thing for Lockyer but my friend had just completed a plumbing job for another friend and then dropped dead in his back garden moments later. This has similar hallmarks. Hope Lockyer recovers and lives a long life but he's now been warned twice.

He won’t get insured now after two cardiac arrests (or at least not without a terrifying premium). He will surely have to retire.

Was hoping after our non performance to get some entertainment from the Liverpool v United game, but it's been absolutely terrible. Zzzzzzzzzzz!
Most dire game I've seen for a long time. At least our disaster had three goals.

I've watched Albion v Stoke, West Ham v us and Liverpool v Man Utd today and all 3 games have been utterly forgettable and painful to get through.
