Why are Burnley so Jekyll and Hyde?

Probably because they have so many bang average footballers. If they're not all firing on all cylinders and at their best they're always going to struggle.

They're playing some reasonably decent stuff here by their standards.

This everton team is 6th and every time I look at their starting XI it just screams averageness.

We’ve been saying it for 2 summers that the door is open to challenge in that top 6 with solid recruitment. I hope this summer we actually capitalise on it before Arsenal and Spurs sort their shit out and WHU, Everton, Villa get ahead of us.

Everton so overated it’s unbelievable, look at their side and it’s so obvious why. Godfrey, Davies, Iwobi, Gomes all mid table at best Richarlison turns up when he wants. For all the money they’ve spent they still look a mile of the elite.

I don’t think the quality of players is an issue. Just playing a completely different system makes them look disjointed. He wants to rest his CM so has gone to a back 5, just play Fernandinho or Foden.

Plus Aguero is rusty and Torres/Jesus is a massive step down on Sterling/Mahrez.

3-0 City, Fulham have barely laid a glove tbh, but it shouldn’t really damage them too much as this one was always a write off really.

Only put the game on right before the pen. It's odd because Fulham have had some nice moments of play here from what I have seen, however the pressing of City is pretty relentless and they are keeping those moments to areas of zero danger.
