Villa all over the place at the back, Martinez at fault for the 2nd.
I thought it was 5-6 weeks he was out for?Let's hope we do the same to them! Grealish not out for too long according to BBC, which will be a shame.. Without him they look tosh.
Commentator said he's expected back for their next gameI thought it was 5-6 weeks he was out for?
We’re a better team than them with him (I know the table says different). Definitely better without him. Should be targeting a win from that one.Grealish out for 5 weeks apparently
This.Commentator said he's expected back for their next game
There's still 13 games left. Who knows if we keep getting results. What is killing us (and always has under Nuno in the PL ) is our goal difference. It's not even close to the teams above us. We need to improve that for sure, or like last season we will keep losing out because of it.We’re a better team than them with him (I know the table says different). Definitely better without him. Battling Villa, Spurs and Arsenal for 8th is probably the best we can do. Everton are too far ahead.
We could go at 2 points a game for the next 13 and probably still miss out on 7th.There's still 13 games left. Who knows if we keep getting results. It's not a given though, either way. With the way this season has gone who knows where you can end up. We are only 7 points off 6th place! All they need to do is just keep it going one game at a time, but i'm sure the team know what they have to do to get there. Ovbviously easier said than done!We could go at 2 points a game for the next 13 and probably still miss out on 7th.
A shit ton better to read compared to the wrist slitting from a month ago. So much better to get giddy about chasing down 7th than worrying Sheff Utd, Albion and Fulham all going catch us and finish higher.Think the wide-eyed optimism today is a bit misplaced. We've steadied the ship but let's not get silly

Keep that wide-eyrd optimism going I say.
Agreed. In what has undoubtedly been an improvement in intent in the last game and a half we've scored from a penalty a worldie and a freak og. When we start creating and scoring chances I'll start looking up the tableThink the wide-eyed optimism today is a bit misplaced. We've steadied the ship but let's not get silly
Not really talking about reality checks, just nicer to read people being positive however far ahead of themselves they are getting.Nah, they're both for the birds imo. Say what you see rather than wishful thinking or overly doomy contemplation.
You can't give a reality check to someone a month ago who thought we were relegation fodder and not do the same now at talk of finishing in a Euro spot
Yea, or maybe we should just be doom and gloom while we are stuck not being able to go anywhere, or do anything. Got to be positive about it all. We'll finish were we finish after 38 games. Maybe it'll be right were we are now, but you have to think we can go up the table with the positive run we've had. Or should we send a message to the team to get back to where they were 5 games ago to tell them to stop winning! Not really talking about reality checks, just nicer to read people being positive however far ahead of themselves they are getting.
I think everyone knows a boring table finish awaits us but we are all stuck in a negative Covid bubble so any chance to be positive take it and run with it.
A master of social distancing.I do like how Tyrone Mings is never anywhere near where he's supposed to be.
