Forget the show pony that is grealish it’s Foden we should be building the team around.
I'd play Jones and Rice behind them and a back 4 of TAA, Stones, Maguire, Shaw.
Agree on Foden but would say Grealish is probably in the running for footballer of the year at the moment he's been that good.
Him and Pickford are the biggest weaknesses. Not sure who else we go with.

He's definitely Villa's best player and one of the biggest influences on a team in the league. He's upped his end product too but he's still the most fouled player by a long way and i think this is because sometimes he just goes looking for them rather than what's best for Villa. I genuinely think it would take his game up an extra notch or 2 again.
Don't get me wrong I think he is a diving little git who looks for fouls too but he's also basically up there creatively with Fernandes and De Bruyne this season.
He could be great but his attitude sinks and he makes some horrendous decisions.

Yeah without a doubt. It just frustrates me from a footballing perspective because surely you would rather create that extra chance, score again rather than win another free kick. It's become some badge of honour it seems.
Perhaps but considering he is posting the same (or better in some cases) numbers as the two players I've mentioned I'm not sure there's too much else he could be doing.
