You don't have kudzu over there???

It's a really invasive vine that came to the States from somewhere in Asia. Grows like wildfire and is fucking impossible to get rid of once it sets on a place.

Hah, I see that the Wiki article even specifies it as a US specific phenomenon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kudzu_in_the_United_States

Stuff is a fucking nightmare.
Nope, suppose an analogy would be Japanese knot weed. Don't get how it applies to the forum though [emoji854]

Seems like every time I post anything out-of-the-norm of British football philosophy it gets fucking set on like mad. Like kudzu.

Didn't use to happen so much but :confused-smiley-013

What a brilliant finish Rashford's goal was!!

Yeah and it's getting quite boring to be honest. Some of Alan's ideas might be far-fetched or 'Americanised' (it's almost as if he is american or something), but he gets grief, and not in a funny way, for no real reason.

Sturridge, just saying

Pompous guff.

Not sure it is Johnny.

i've been lucky enough to meet a number of posters. And genuinely, all I've met have been really good people to meet.

Alan hasn't, as like YW says, a lot of his recent posts have been responded to in a way that can read a little harshly. Frequently unnecessarily so. Sometimes I am aware the people doing this aren't as aggressive IRL, so it seems a little unwarranted. Of course, tone etc isn't always clear with what we type.

No issue with anyone debating points etc, but I'd agree with YW that Alan has recently experienced some unnecessary criticism and apparent aggro.

Back on topic, both rashfords and sturridges goals were awesome yesterday.

Agree with both your post LJ. Sturridge's goal was excellent.

That poster consistently talks shit and has told me to fuck off. So no he hasn't been dealt with harshly because he's American, it's because of his posting.

You're right on Sturridge's goal and Rashford's finish. Top drawer stuff.

Think it's interesting how genius and madness are so closely related in football. If that shot from Sturridge doesn't go in it's an absolutely ridiculous decision to shoot from where he does.

Obviously it turned out a bit more spectacularly than that, but crossed my mind as the commentators (and myself) were spaffing over it.

No different from Neves volley v Derby really - a few inches higher and no one would remember it at all, but it's those goals that get you off your seat saying WTFWT

Good lord Burnley are shit. They have rolled up at Cardiff set up to sneak a 0-0 draw.

"280 - The first half between Cardiff and Burnley saw just 280 passes attempted, with a 59% completion rate; both season-low figures for a first half in the Premier League. Grind."

Awful.

Burnley finally decide to attack and score
