He just looked so calm assured and solid. He is wonderful to watch. A sweeper keeper who is a good shot stopper and can come for crosses. He and Virgil completed the jigsaw for Klopp.. If he had been there last year it could have been different.

Spurs however need to look at themselves. The occasion got the better of them.

Rose was the best player on the pitch. Origi's finish was excellent, but Liverpool offered nothing bar that and a soft (but correct by UEFA rules) penalty.

Spurs were okay, I suppose. Liverpool were a mile under par for them. They played a LOT better than that against us at Anfield, and we created more against them that day than Spurs have tonight.

I agree Spurs were better but they’ll be kicking themselves, in hindsight Kane should never have started plus the like of Erikksen and Alli never got into the game.
