Knew it they had the better takers on the field

That was a shit penalty from Abraham to win it. Lucky it went in.

Shame for Albion, they were much the better side in the game until Brunt got sent off. Some stupid errors in the tie has cost them.

Abraham was SPECTACULARLY fortunate there. Albion in the shit now.

Hopefully Villa are on Bank Holiday weekend as well.

Albion the better team until Brunt went.
Then shit subs and fucking awful penalty takers.
Did I read Jamie Smith helps them now?

Don’t expect Albion to be back in the PL anytime soon now. Have real issues with their squad and lack of funds.

He was the one with his arm round Shan's shoulder during the penalties to his left as you look at the screen

Very big chance the big rivalry in the region will become Wolves v Villa, not that I want it to be. Can see blues and Albion now having prolonged periods outs the PL.

If Villa don't win the playoff final they could have a similar long period of absence. The final is crucial for them

Can’t see them not winning it really now, think they’ll have learnt a lot from last year plus I think player for player they’re better than Leeds.

Albion showed today if you press Villa they are lost, Leeds can do that but Wembley is a big pitch to do it on. They have the sign on Derby though so if they get there I can only see one winner

The villa fans at work dont think they've got enough to beat Leeds. It would be nice to be top team in the west Midlands for a little while with no competition. Sad for the region, but on a selfish level it'll be nice to enjoy being a little smug having worked in west Brom and bham for the past 15 years, it's not always been easy!

Good thing for Villa have some transfer issues, Abraham will probably go back to Chelsea if not they’ll probably want close to £30m for him, Mings will go back to Bournemouth if not they’ll probably want close to £20m. Tuanzabe will almost certainly be recalled by Man Utd.
Basically they’ll have to spend close to £60m just to keep there current standard. Admittedly their owners aren’t short of a few bob.
But they’re working 3 weeks behind the rest of the PL.

Putting up a kid RB (never taken a pen in pro football as far as I know) and an utter donkey of a CH as your first two takers? Nice work.

Pick your best takers FFS.
