Live Match Discussion 2018/19

Seems fair to me. No different to some challenges i have seen when playing 7 aside. Clearly wins the ball...

Naby Keita looking exceptionally dangerous for Liverpool today. Real quality on the ball. Only preseason of course but still promising signs for him.

And, in what will be news to nobody here, Christian Pulisic has absolutely eaten Alberto Moreno's lunch in this match. Now 3-1 to Dortmund and Pulisic has created or scored all 3 Dortmund goals.

1-0 Burnley in the second leg, Chris Wood. Calamitous defending but well taken.

1-1. Superb overhead kick by 18 year old Ferguson for Aberdeen.

I'll have Reading and Derby to draw tonight.

Probably going to be double screening as Hamburg kick off their 2.Bundesliga season tonight vs Kiel.

I'll be interested to see Derby this year. I really rate Lampard, I think he has the intelligence and respect from the dressing room to get them into the play offs at worst

A Reading singing section??? Oh fucking behave. You are one of the most plastic cuntholes of a club on God's green earth. A bunch of fuckpigs singing bollocks songs isn't going to turn you into the Green Brigade.

Edwards not even on the bench.

Ah, the first horrific mistake from Richard Keogh and the first duffed finish by Bod.

Welcome home, football.

Keogh tried to give them another goal. The bod doesn’t make the most of it.

I certainly do not miss us being in this league one bitn

Lamps, you're going to have to stop trying to have Keogh play football, he is shit at anything other than basic head it and kick it duties.

So glad we're out this league.

I kind of got the point that being a good Championship team was more rewarding than being a really shit PL team, although I don't subscribe to it.

It's really not a good league, I never found it particularly enjoyable, the quality in so many games is awful (including this one so far). We proved last season that it isn't a difficult league, you just need the right players and manager. We were vastly overpowered but by the same token, so many games we won easily and we were only at about 60-70%.

Completely agree Dan.

Not surprising how Derby playing really, trying to be patient in possession and play through midfield but they don’t have the players at the back and Lesley and Bryson are not really the midfielders you want receiving it either. End up just playing it around until Reading apply some proper pressure, or a spanner like Keogh just gives them the ball

No real pace at all in the front six for Derby, I'd have Jozefzoon on straight away.
