United not coming back into this now - this is about the max level they can get to whoever they faced.

How has Pogba not been booked there? Hacks at his man 3 times in a strop.

Put Juve v Ajax game now Man Utd are dead and buried.

That free kick routine :icon_lol:

Jesus, Messi. He makes it look so fucking simple.

Thought the same. The first was obviously trying to trip him, could get away with the second if the first was ignored, but then went back again. Easy booking...

United been hammered then? Would quite enjoy them taking a real pasting score wise.

Ajax doing well. Held on a bit at times but very much in the tie again. Would love them to go through.

United were ok first 10. They do have some dismal footballers though and as time has gone on it's shown. Fred is absolutely baffling. Proper League Two technique and nothing else to mitigate that.

Brighton have been in an absolute spiral since xmas, think something similar happened to Houghton at Norwich got into a rut of form that he couldn't get out of.

Their squad is terrible really. Absolute mess considering the money they have spent. I'm thoroughly enjoying it though.

Done a great job there, and has done in previous jobs but he is very Mick like for me. Has a really clear ceiling. If they stay up they should get rid. They have actually got some decent footballers in that squad that I don't think we have really seen the best of.

Has done a great job as he did at Blues, but have a feeling he's ideas become worn on his squad after a few seasons. Still think they'll stay up but the style they play is very pragmatic.

Given Brighton's position (assuming that tonight gets no better for them) then wouldn't be surprised to see them here in a very defensive move & try to take a point.

Would then be 3 pts ahead with a game in hand over Cardiff. Would be surprised to see them going expansive & risking a loss.

We will need to finally work out how to break down teams sitting 10 in the defensive line.

They'll look at the games against ourselves and Newcastle as the best chance of picking up points. Think they'll come here Saturday looking to win but in a very pragmatic style. ie set pieces and staying level as long as possible. Best case scenario for us is an early goal by ourselves which will force them out.
