Live Match Discussion 2018/19

At the end of the game I asked by son if he wanted to take his carrier bag home, I got as much of a withering look as you can get from an 11 year old, just a very random idea

Ended up with mine in the coat pocket (no idea I had put it there really) - came in use at Tesco's today as had no other bag

Poor from Porto this, its a big chance for a lot of their players to earn a move to Wolves next year, and they are blowing it.

Mine came back with me without realising! It wasn't until I was in a pub after the game I realised I had folded it up and put it my back pocket. Clearly thinking of the enviroment, can't be littering.

On VAR, we discussed this at the game on Sunday. They have to communicate with the crowd better. We had no idea what on earth they were looking at for the two referrals in the second half (apparently Raul's goal also got checked for offside...didn't notice that though as was otherwise engaged) and that just isn't good enough. The fans tonight would also have had no clue as it wasn't an obvious handball shout in real time. At least say on the screens or over the Tannoy (TM) "Review for handball against <Player X>, red card review, <Player Y> on <Player Z>" or whatever.

Yes, it didn't work. An announcement of a VAR review for a red card you didn't have any idea about followed 2 seconds later by "VAR complete" is unsatisfactory

I presumed the 2 red card VAR reviews in our match were a malfunction as nobody had any idea what the were for.

Don't they automatically check all goals on VAR?

The first one, could see the ref telling players to wait and then signalled to carry on and at that point we got the checking red card announcement

Albion comeback on. Gayle scores 2 mins into the 2nd half

Bristol hit the post then have a penalty appeal waved away moments later

Looks like Kane is about to sit out the rest of the season

What happened? poch looked annoyed at delph but I missed the tackle/foul/injury aha

Fucking hell Bristol City. You are a bunch of cunts but you are playing the BIGGEST bunch of cunts. Sort it out.
