Interesting to know what happened at Fulham. They had a solid basis to build on. Like us they had an identity, a way of playing and solid structure. It was clear they needed to add quality to their defence and get a solid midfielder. Probably add 5 or 6 players.

Their transfer business was ok until deadline day and then they threw everything out of the window and signed anyone walking over Putney Bridge. The manager then had to ditch what he had been doing and lost control and seemingly became Walter Zenga and randomly selected players each week. Ranieri was left with mission impossible. He needed to add players but they had spent it all and as decent as Babel has been for them, they didnt need a player like him.

Put money on Fulham winning their only away game at Molineux...

They had a lot of players on loan in the promotion season that werent fit for purpose at the next level so they needed a bit of a turnover but they spent the money very badly 60m (30m each) on Serri and Anguissa is a terrible waste of funds.

Seri and Zambo both really should have been improvements for them, but neither have come close to their potential this season. Le Marchand also I believe was relatively well thought of at his old club. Just none of them panned out or they totally backfired.

Only saw Anguissa in the Europa League final but he was terrible. Another Bakayoko.

Their transfers were totally scattergun though. They bought a new GK in Fabri then ditched him after 2 games to bring in another because they axed their goalkeeping coach that recommended him.

Yes but had Cardiff won last night they could have reached 49 its, Burnley can still get 51 its. So if Cardiff beat Burnley it knocks Burnley's max total down to 48 and we're on 47. So in response we were only safe after last nights result.
Total irrelevance as we've been safe since January.
