This could be anything. I can't see Sarri lasting the season to be honest. The players clearly don't rate him.

He's setting them up for a fall with his shit tactics. You've got his choice of keeper who is 6/10 at everything at best, Luiz and Alonso in a back four which is frankly ludicrous, Jorginho who got worked out three months ago and runs like Kevin McDonald, which in turn pushes the world's best defensive midfielder out into a weird sort of right wing position. Persists with a rubbish Willian or a miles past it Pedro over Hudson-Odoi. No intensity, just aimless possession.

You can put the failure of other Chelsea managers on the dressing room, no problem. Not this one. It's him, he has one trick and it's not a very good one.

I do agree Dan. Maybe I didn't say it as intended. The players don't rate him as those who are actually any good have seen through him just as your brief, cutting, and utterly justified analysis lays out.

I mean, why would Hazard want to sit and try and play in this crap show?

If they don't sort it then Chelsea are a legitimate target for next season.

I think this could be the year Hazard goes. Real get rid of Bale (someone will pay the money for him if he's available) and off he pops to leave a vacancy. Given their own shitshow this year, Real are going to go huge in the summer if finances allow.

I watched the game, can confirm that Nacional are completely rubbish.

Some lovely play at times from Benfica though, that little passage of play when Seferović almost turned it in at the back post was brilliant football. Shame it took them so long to sack Vitória.

He shouldn't have started the season. And then he should've been sacked in November. it was a complete shambolic display of the Benfica board. It was announced that he had resigned, by every Portuguese news outlets. The chairman / president then announced a press conference for the day after, at night. It started and he went on to ramble about completely unnecessary stuff, Dublin Drummer can vouch for this as he was with me and João on that particular evening.

Among other lunatic phrases, he said that he was not sacking Vitória because, and I quote here, "I saw a light". I kid you not.

I could only think of murder at that moment.
